SMS MESSAGING POLICY
5 Wealth Management provides SMS-based scheduling assistance to prospective and current clients. Individuals who interact with 5 Wealth Management — including those who request a tax analysis, watch our retirement readiness workshop, or otherwise engage with our content — may receive SMS messages from a phone number operated by 5 Wealth Management. We do not send marketing or solicitation messages to consumers who have not opted in.
5 Wealth Management is an independent financial advisory firm operating under Magellan Financial and Insurance Services Inc.
Quick summary: If you received a text from a 5 Wealth Management number, you provided your phone number through one of our forms and affirmatively opted in to SMS communications. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP.
SMS consent is a standalone, dedicated agreement. It is not bundled with form submissions, content downloads, scheduling activities, or any other transaction. You are presented with a separate, clearly labeled SMS messaging consent that you may accept or decline independently of all other agreements.
Consent is not a condition of receiving any service from 5 Wealth Management. You may decline SMS consent and still access our content, complete our tax analysis tool, watch our workshop, and engage with our team through other channels.
The opt-in is collected through a clearly separated SMS-consent checkbox on our digital forms. The opt-in checkbox is unchecked by default; you must affirmatively opt in by checking the box before submitting.
The opt-in language reads:
“I agree to receive automated text messages from 5 Wealth Management about my tax analysis results and to schedule a call. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. View our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.”
Key compliance characteristics of our opt-in:
Consent records — including the form submission, the date and time of consent, your name, and the phone number provided — are retained by 5 Wealth Management. Consent is never purchased, rented, shared, or transferred to third parties.
Welcome message
The first SMS you receive from 5 Wealth Management identifies the firm by name, confirms you are opted in, and reminds you of the STOP and HELP keywords. For example:
“Hi Sarah, this is 5 Wealth Management. Based on your tax analysis you could save around $12,400. Want me to send over the workshop? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”
Individuals who opt in may receive the following types of SMS messages:
Message type | Description
Tax analysis follow-up | A welcome message after you complete the Retirement Ready tax tool, summarizing your potential savings and offering next steps. “Hi Sarah, based on your tax analysis you could save around $12,400. Want me to send the workshop?”
Workshop delivery | A link to the retirement readiness workshop after you request it. “Here’s the workshop — it’s about 30 minutes and covers the strategies in detail.”
Scheduling responses | Replies to your interest in scheduling a call with an advisor, including offered openings and booking confirmations. “How about June 12 at 10:00am or June 14 at 2:30pm Mountain Time?”
Appointment confirmations | Confirmations once a call is booked, including the date, time, and how the advisor will reach you. “All set! Sarah, 15-min call on June 12 at 10:00am Mountain Time. The advisor will reach out at that time.”
Appointment reminders | Day-before and day-of reminders for upcoming advisor calls.
Replies to your questions | Responses to questions you initiate about scheduling, our process, or how to prepare for your call.
Follow-up nudges | Up to three follow-up messages if you have not responded after your initial inquiry, reminding you that you can schedule a call when you are ready. After three follow-ups with no response, SMS communications stop.
5 Wealth Management does not send unsolicited marketing messages, third-party advertisements, sweepstakes, or messages to anyone who has not opted in.
You can expect to receive up to 4 messages during the initial scheduling sequence (welcome, workshop link, scheduling opener, and up to 3 follow-ups if no response), plus replies to any messages you send. Once a call is booked, you may receive up to 2 reminders before the call.
Message frequency varies based on how you engage with our messages. You are never enrolled in recurring promotional message streams.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time, with no fee and no questions asked.
STOP
Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
Other accepted keywords: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT. 5 Wealth Management will send a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will not send further messages from that number.
HELP

You will receive 5 Wealth Management’s name, support contact information, and a reminder of the STOP keyword. Other accepted keywords: INFO.
To re-subscribe after opting out, reply START or UNSTOP, or contact 5 Wealth Management directly.
Message and data rates may apply. The amount and timing of messages depend on your mobile carrier and plan. 5 Wealth Management does not charge you for messages; standard carrier rates from your wireless provider apply.
Carriers supported include all major U.S. carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their MVNOs). 5 Wealth Management is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages caused by carrier conditions outside our control.
Your phone number, message content, and consent records are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or message content with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5 Wealth Management operates in accordance with applicable financial industry regulations, including those issued by FINRA and the SEC governing client communications. SMS messages are limited to scheduling logistics, content delivery, and general administrative communication. We do not provide specific investment advice, recommendations, or guarantees of financial outcomes via SMS.

Please do not send sensitive personal financial information (account numbers, Social Security numbers, login credentials, specific dollar amounts of holdings) by text. Detailed financial discussions are conducted by phone, video conference, or secure document exchange.
